it's not as if this hasn't happened before, it happens all the time. i'm sitting in a room completely full of people yet i'm still by myself. and the music's playing, the party's raging, and i'm still by myself watching t.v. without the volume
because everyone's way too loud. here i am alone. it's not as if i'm the only one here, this room is anything but empty. i've tried my best to have a good time, i've tried to maintain a smile. but i wish you were here with me watching t.v. sitting on the couch. something's missing, something's empty, that something missing is you. here i am alone.
