Life Amongst The Dead

Looking out a frosted window pane,
Thunder shatters through the acid rain,
Darkness covers the sparkling eyes,
Hell-bent angels dream of suicide,
Lonely walls that will not heed silent voices in the cold throat near,
Still, I listen to their cries as we watch their life slip by.

Life amongst the dead,
No sadness, no weeping,

Still voices not speaking,

Earthly fool, all sleeping,
These traitors of Heaven are dancing in their beds.

And when it's falling victim to the father of lies,
Death has made them equals in eternal fire's eyes,
Cross the bridge at the river,
From the water is life,
Feel the power and glory for the risen Christ.
