The Anatomy of You

Narrowing, my mind begins to cave.
Aggression I can feel the energy building inside.
Any good thoughts have turned to hate.
Mixed signals have crossed the wrong path.

Smile displayed.
Edges frayed.
Hair torn out.

Sorrow has become my new best friend.
A tear trickles and I think I have gone.

Eyes blackened.
Beginning to shake.
I can't sleep.
Am I awake?

Punch a hole in the wall, frustration?
Don't feel the pain at all, I'm numb.
Sitting in the corner rocking.
Feels like my grasp is gone.
Eternal despair setting in.
How good it will feel to finally be free.

Memories are quickly starting to fade.
Past is gone, what kind of person will I turn out to be?
Tears flowing for no goddamn reason at all.
Tear at my skin 'till I feel nothing at all.

Sealed my fate.
Way too late.
