Kermit: Why are there so many songs about rainbows
and what's on the other side?
Deborah: Rainbows are visions but only illusions
Rainbows have nothing to hide
Kermit: So we've been told and some choose to believe it I know they're wrong, wait and see
Deborah: Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection
both: the lovers, the dreamers and me
All of us under its spell we know that it's probably magic
Kermit: Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
Deborah: I've heard them calling my name
Kermit: Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
Deborah: The voice might be one and the same
Kermit: I've heard it too many times to ignore it
