When the Time for My Last Breath Comes

I'm living
My last long days
Where I saw my children grow up and
My goals being fulfilled
My intelligence mature and my experience expand

I get the sense of accomplishment
Completed duty
But I don't want to go away from this old world
With its unique nuances
Even knowing my time will end
I struggle to keep breathing

I imagine that
When the time for my last breath comes
Everything and everyone
Will cease to exist
No more feelings, disappointments or fears

I imagine that
There are no paths after life on Earth
We can be just a spark
In the hugeness of the universe

Time may
Have come
For me to go

I feel how lonely this moment is

The light
Distorting
