No Complaints

I've been walking down this desert road
For what seems to be a lifetime
The autumn sun just fell behind a silhouette of mountains
And all i'm left with now is a cold dark night to find my way back home
I feel the odds against me but i still maintain control

Even though i'm lost i still know where i'm going

I wake up early every day
And it's a beautiful day today
Until i step outside and begin to feel the heat rise up off the pavement
The wind is blowing hot and dry and i'm down to my last drop of water
The sun is blazing down upon my skin as it begins to burn

Even though the summer's hot in arizona

The only time that i felt like i was half a man
It didn't take me long to realize the damage i could do
And now i've got to make the best of the time that i'm given
