The Pestilent Pits of Disgrace

So old and defiled
coming from the obscure
enormous pyres in perpetual flames
are the pits of disgrace
rising in the everlasting night

into another existence
walk the collectors of the dead
soul dealers of the afterworld
mournful harvesters of flesh and blood!

ripping hearts in brutal celebrations
offered to ancient gods of decadence
gods of the abysmal kingdoms
feeding the unholy fire with putrid corpses

beings so immersed in blackness
servants of underworld masters
hallowed creatures from the endless night
reanimated to obey in pain!

haggard sorcerers of malignant will
slavering souls in eternal grief
skinless monks of impurity
sacrificial rites in the after realms
