Drawn like the hungry swarm
Beckoned by bell and call
Dragged blinkered with the horde
Hung by a meathooked soul

Rabid visionaries
The pious blind
With accusing hand
We are damned

Stung wild with this blasphemy
The pages burn with hysterical fire
Frenzied laughter thru clenched teeth
Bloodlust choked upon the smoke

Not looking before you leap
Fall heading into the shadow
Fanatical raving of a delirious flock
Howl for the whip that no longer cracks

You devout junkie
Invoking the fix
Convulsive spasm
Of a manic disciple
