Mind barrier

Raised in times of calm and prosperity
Pretended solid state
A barrier with a purpose
To keep nature out of range

Never aware that we
Had to witness all of this
Past scars that was made
Long before our time

When the first hole cracks open
Then the whole thing falls apart
Leaving us to drown in panic
Too frightened to ask for aid

Your sympathy
Is nothing but fear
Erased with us

Why risk to burn your skin

According to your actions we are not equal
We have to protect you from us

Walking on in silence
Bottling up our frustrations
Disappointed but yet not broken
