Wakes Up Very Early

Wakes up very early in the morning looking for his socks
Loses so much time because he didn't learn to tie his shoes

What does it matter at all?

Picks up all his books and goes to high school knowing it's all in vain
Wondering, suffering, playing all alone his pretentious mental games

What does it matter at all?

See how he's upset
See how he cries
See how he looks bad
See how he's sad
As though he was hurt

Well, maybe he is so
Maybe he's not
And who could be sure?
Nobody knows exactly what he feels inside
Not even himself

Life's been so unkind and there he is, questioning himself
Is it really true that I was left on my own to carry on?
