The beginning of the collapse under the weight of our decadence
Greed and blind faith, the albatross hanging low from our neck
Is sinking us into the earth that we have hollowed out
Imploding in slow motion
Collapsing in on itself
We have sentenced ourselves to doom
Keeling over from a heart suffering atrophy and drunk on the blood that it pumps
