Upon the hill he stands
Stares at his world, and cries
As the ashes rise up
To reveal the lies
Hearing their voices cry... out of the fire!

Lost inside his own mind, he left them there to die
To recreate himself, become his own lie
Forget all that he was, betray the ones he loved
For he could only see his own reality

The tears broke through his glazed brigh eyes
The winds of change have passed him by
The rain came down and washed away
The memories of these dark days

Without looking back, he turns away
The ashes still burning him,
Their silence fuels the flame!
