Eternally lost inside a dream
Am I dead or living a fallacy?
Is it day or night? I can’t recall
The fading sunsets, the glorious dawn

Darkness' all I see, decay and dust
Through aeons of winter
And constant pain, my memory is blurred

Fragments of a youth, abruptly lost
Remnants of a lifetime that’s been long gone

Numb finality, I have no soul, yet I am forever
Bemused in silence, alive but dead

Fire awakes me into the depths of night
And then I fall through the void again, to rise when stars align
Control your fear when death is nigh and you will be divine

Doomed to lethargy, an old man’s chatter
Of jeered and baffled dementia

Darkness' all I see, I am condemned
Through aeons of winter
To drown my pain in loneliness and shame
