Emptiness Remains

Tried to make me break
Is there nothing in this life worth saving
So here I stand within these walls
Echos of life so small
Where every crack is a story better left untold

Voices they fade away
But all the scars remain
Suppressing all my memories
Misery finds me
There in the shadows found where I stand

So for now I
I don't want to bend and break
Keep a level head
But the cracks begin to form in place

Cold spells get me again

Cold blood and sweat now overtake

Shattered to pieces
Cut down by the guillotine
