God it was stupid, how we met
I saw you through your windshield, looking so frantic, in a mess
Apparent you were stressed and LA traffic
Man, I get it, so, I turned my blinker off and said go ahead
And when you smiled back, oh, I caught it
The slightest glimpse of your freckles
Took me back when I was in Iceland
All alone and looked to the heavens, they were smiling
Now I know that they were telling me you were coming
But it came crashing down
When I saw him walk out
He said your name out loud
What an awful sound
