It's been a while since I find it hard to speak,Hace tiempo que me cuesta hablar,
like a fear of not knowing how to becomo un miedo a no saber estar
where others ask me to be,donde los demás me piden que esté,
fear of I'm not sure what...miedo no se bien a qué...
And every day I believe a little moreY cada día creo un poco más
that age is making us silent,que la edad nos va haciendo callar,
I no longer say nonsense just to talk,ya no digo tonterías por decir,
I'm scared of what they think of me...me asusta lo que creen de mí…

all that I have learned,todo cuanto he aprendido,
if what I keep in the drawersi ha de hacerme tanto daño
is going to hurt me so much,lo que guardo en el cajón,
I give it to oblivion,yo se lo regalo al olvido,
every single momenttodos y cada momento
that I carried inside until today,que hasta hoy llevaba dentro
I don't want them with me,no los quiero junto a mí,
I give them to oblivion.se los regalo al olvido.
I thought that growing olderCreía que hacerse mayor
would give you more control,te otorgaba algo más de control,
at least in my case it's not like that,por lo menos mi caso no es así,
there are things I still can't say.hay cosas que aun no se decir.
And people passing by confuse me.Y me confunde la gente al pasar.
Panic at meeting someonePánico a encontrarme a alguien
and having to stop to say hello.y tenerme que parar a saludar.
I can't think of what to say.No se me ocurre qué decir.

hiding from others.escondiéndome de los demás.
Maybe no one will see me run...Quizás nadie me vea correr…
