And I, John, who am also your brotherE eu, João, que também sou vosso irmão
And companion in suffering and in the KingdomE companheiro na aflição e no Reino
And in the patience of Jesus ChristE na paciência de Jesus Cristo
Was on the island called Patmos, for the word of GodEstava na ilha chamada Patmos, por causa da palavra de Deus
I was caught up in the Spirit on the Lord's DayEu fui arrebatado em Espírito no dia do Senhor
And I heard behind me a voice, like a trumpet sayingE ouvi detrás de mim uma voz, como de trombeta que dizia
What you see, write in a bookO que vês escreve no livro
And send it to the seven churches that are in AsiaE envia às sete igrejas que estão na Ásia
And I turned to see who was speaking to meE virei-me para ver quem falava comigo
And turning, I saw seven golden lampstandsE virando-me vi sete castiçais de ouro
And in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of ManE no meio dos sete castiçais Um semelhante ao Filho do Homem
Clothed with a long robe and girded with a golden sashVestido de um vestido comprido e cingido com um cinto de ouro
And His head and hair were white like woolE a Sua cabeça e cabelos eram brancos como a lã
And His eyes like flames of fireE os Seus olhos como chamas de fogo
And His feet like polished bronzeE os Seus pés semelhantes ao latão reluzente
And His voice like the sound of many watersE a Sua voz como a voz de muitas águas
And He holds in His right hand seven starsE Ele tem na Sua destra sete estrelas
And out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged swordE da Sua boca saía uma espada aguda de dois fios
And His face was like the sun shining in its strengthE o Seu rosto era como o Sol, quando na Sua força resplandece

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as deadE eu quando o vi, caí como morto aos seus pés
But He laid His right hand on me sayingMas Ele pôs sobre mim aua destra dizendo
Do not be afraid, I am JesusNão temas, Eu sou Jesus
I am the first and the last, the One who lives and was deadEu sou o primeiro e o último, o que vivo e fui morto
And behold, I am alive forevermore, amenMas eis que estou vivo para todo sempre, amém
I have the keys of death and hellEu tenho a chave da morte e do inferno
I conquered at Calvary, the empire of evilVenci no calvário, do mal o império
And now I make known to you the present and what is to comeE agora te faço saber o presente e o que há de acontecer

Write to the churches that are in AsiaEscreve as igrejas que estão na Ásia
I know your works, virtues, and flawsEu sei tuas obras, virtudes e falhas
I do not tolerate sin, I am Holy and I do not fail, and the people are mineNão tolero pecado, sou Santo e não falho e o povo é meu
Tell the people I have treasures stored upDiga ao povo que tenho tesouros guardados
And to the one who overcomes, they will be rewardedE ao que vencer será recompensado
They will sit with me on my throne and have a reserved rewardVai se assentar comigo, em meu trono e terá galardão reservado

The beautiful city that John beheldA linda cidade que João contemplou
Is the city that God has prepared for usÉ a cidade que Deus pra nós preparou
It is the holy city, the new JerusalemÉ a cidade santa, a nova Jerusalém
And that’s where we’re going to riseE é pra lá que vamos subir

And in this celebration we will be, so let’s stay alertE nesta festa vamos estar, por isso vamos vigiar
On streets of gold we will walkNas ruas de ouro vamos andar
We will find our loved ones thereNossos amados lá encontrar
And eternally with Jesus, we will dwell!E eternamente com Jesus, iremos habitar!
