The veil was torn, the earth gave way
As heaven marked the cost
The spotless lamb in crimson grace

The final breath, the sky went still
The son in silence laid
Inside the darkness of the tomb
Where hope itself was sealed

It felt like hope was buried in the ground
Like love itself was lost without a sound
