As One Dies

I fall inside
No one hears my cry
Look to the sky
Was it just a lie?

Memories flash before me as I die
Regrets and torment I ask myself why
Painfull expressions appear on my face
Why couldn't somebody else take my place?

I see my life
It passed me by
Could not hold on
Soon I'll be gone

In my eyes I see
A bright glare blinding me
Walk into the light
Heaven turns to night

My innocence does not want to leave this world behind
But my convictions won't allow me to stay
Blazing thoughts run through my mind abound and great
Consequences bound to take me are raging as I die.
