As the sun rushes to meet the morning sky
An ineffable journey beings, speaking nary a lie
And as the light is cast into our eyes
Not a soul dares to whisper of demise

The sweet cadence of noontide bells
Tranquilly emerges from Fortune's well
Contriving joy in a harmonious chime
Only to become a victim of inexorable time

The heavens fall prey to dusk's cold embrace
Casting dark shadows upon the planets face
The blackening horizon eclipses the past
And Nature's sweet miracle leaves our world aghast

Now the stars have effaced a world so bright
And a silent breeze passes beneath the cold moonlight
Entwined with serenity, our world begins to fade
As the wind gently whispers its final serenade
