I saw the hungry and i offered them bread
And they tore me to shreds
And they said:

"this is my body! this is my blood!"

I saw the prophets and i asked where truth lies
But they'd pulled out their eyes . . .
"the blind are the wise!"

I don't mean to play the devils advocate
But the cost of living ain't exactly cheap.
In the dream homes of insomniacs
The slaves can finally get some sleep
So sweet dreams.

Sink your teeth in.
The apple is sweeter than eden
We're going to dance with the dead

We are better off fallen.
