Desperation, incompetence and rage
I harvest frustration, cannot turn the page
Pulses of pleasure, pleasure or pain?
Passion? Aggression? It all feels the same

Lost in an ocean, uncertain of my fate
Living life ahead of time, always just too late
The trail of frustration is taking its toll
Broken loved ones and a poisoned soul

What endless torture is doing to me?
Subdued inner force with a will to break free
Preventing the presence of tranquility

Sleepless nights, the beast that bites
A war that's under my skin
Blistering flames, a burning rage
Eternal anger within

Will this deafening silence, ever recreate the violence
Or swallow me as I exceed?
The rush that I need, the anger I breed
Sustaining the endless defiance

In my time of need, I was left here to bleed
But I always cut out my scars
