Harbor Lights

Are you with me in redefining horizons?
A moment sullen with a bullet for the sender
And a head full of fables, and from the
backseat I find that I am capable

To tap the day's decay into a system of delay
To stay or sway is what she might say
As we stepped onto the island
The waves were crashing in
The waves came crashing in on me

These lonely highways that we wander daily
They thought that we were crazy
'cause once I was with wisdom
Enlightened but imprisoned, an offering
Twice envisioned from this tranquil hideaway

And a soft summer's day may cast away her evil
flares of slumber
These dancing harbor lights are gone
