Through the endless vale of time
Echoes whisper through the pines
Shadows dance where none remain
Lost to sorrow, bound in chains

A solemn wind calls out my name
Ghosts of yore, they weep in vain
Through shattered glass of the past I gaze
Fading voices drown in haze

Carried afar, the cold winds cry
A requiem lost to the silent sky
Dust and ash upon the stones
Drifting whispers, forgotten bones

Night descends, the stars grow dim
A hollow path, the air so thin
Footsteps falter, burdened soul
Bound to secrets never told

Ventus noctis, portat dolorem
Umbrae vetustae, sibilant nomen
Tenebrae vocant, cor mortuum
Oblivionis osculum aeternum
Saeclum perditum, flamma exstincta
Vox sepulta sub luna fracta

The wind of night carries sorrow
