Nuestra historia comienza cuando yo tenía catorce años:Our story starts when I was fourteen years old:
mis amigos y yo nos escapamos para nuestro primer concierto punk.my friends and I snuck out for our first punk show.
Hicimos nuestras camas y robamos el auto de mi hermana,We stuffed our beds and stole my sister's car,
y pasamos todo el camino tocando nuestras guitarras imaginarias.and spent the whole way there playing our air guitars.
No tenía ni idea en lo que me estaba metiendo.I had no clue what I was getting myself into.

Unos años más tarde, conocí a unos chicos en una banda de rock,A few years later, met some guys in a rock band,
tomé un teclado y empecé a cantar.picked up a keyboard and I started singing.
Escribimos algunas canciones y tocamos en bares locales,We wrote some songs and played our local bars
pero nunca hubiera imaginado que llegaríamos tan lejos.but never would've guessed that we would ever make it this far.
De vez en cuando, todavía recuerdo cómo se me hundió la realidad.Now and then, I still remember it sinking in.

porque me ayudaba a sentirme cerca de casa.'cause it helped me to feel close to home.

ahora estoy viviendo mi vida en la carretera.now I'm livin' my life on the road.

Traje algunas historias de los lugares que visitamosBrought back some stories from the places we'd been to
y aprendí mucho de todo el drama que atravesamos.and learned a lot from all the drama we went through.
Luego grabamos un disco, empezamos a hacernos un nombre,Then cut a record, started building a name,
conseguimos una verdadera base de fans y nuestra primera fama.got a real fanbase and our first of fame.
