Crumbling

When you cross the street I can see you crumbling, I take your parts that you left around
So when you come home I put your parts back, see you complete and satisfied it’s my goal
I can not see that this kind of happiness of making you glad makes me so jaded

Everything is superficial and fake, everything is boring and deceptive
I am so tired, I'm so sick and tired to live in this deep fake joy
Taking all my chances to fill your empty life, taking all my chances to feed my sorrow

My fleeting pleasure is the only thing that makes me not give it all up
Everyone is superfluous and fake, everyone is stupid and arrogant
I gave you my best and you still think that I'm made of defects you never forgave
I am so tired, I'm so sick and tired to live in this overweening world
