Beckoning Sun

By the power of the sun
Star of eternal light
From the prison of the dead
Our fates were intertwined

The adage of my people has lead me on this quest
Of blood and countless demons
Any my own burning flesh
Thou who art undead are chosen

For the bells must be awoken
We are amidst strange beings in a strange land
The flow of time itself
Is convoluted with heroes centuries old phasing in and out

Of course we are not the only ones engaged in this
But I am a warrior of the sun
The sun is a wondrous body like a magnificent father
If only I could be so grossly incandescent

By your side I shall fight with valor
For this is our curse and our quest
The burden of a thousand deaths
For the sun is the true God
Whether its there or not
I've found the sun
