Strength of The Heart

I am a beast, immortal, to be stabbed a thousand times
Through the heart, though the back, wounds that cannot heal
I look at life from above, like the trees in my mind
To pity such small beings who live life for nothing

I try to understand what it is to have no goal
To not be strong, to give up when all is bad
I could have been like you, to walk away from it
When I was misery, but now I am the king of me

I am strong, the master of my World
I have found the gateway to my soul

I escaped the abyss, a survivor

As a king I sit on my throne
My destiny in my arms

Strength rules my heart

You cry on and cry on and still it will get you nowhere
You hope it's not forever
You try, oh you try hard, but still it gets you nowhere
