Paint me into your image of compliance. My blood runs red, white and blue from my patriotic heart. Stealing my freedom, tying the noose around my neck. I pledge allegiance to your revered death shroud. My broken spirit, I bow down. A blind faith in a system of corruption that leads us marching proudly to our deaths. Our ignorance will tear us down. Remove the blondfold. We think that we live in a great nation because that is what we are told, our ignorance to the truth will be our downfall, when will we remove the blindfold?
