Light christens cracks in her darkness,
Shining a new light through and through.
Microscopic lines etched in decayed ruins,
Calculated inflictions cutting at whats left to gain.

Speculation a sickness – intestinal,
So relentless, unforgiving breath the air that keeps us living.
Still we must appreciate the semblance of familiarity,
Something so lifelike yet so damn hard to see.

I’ll be there when life comes to carry you away from me,
Feral children of a god so far away, too far away to see.
Disengage and disregard to watch you walk to see you fall,
The bloodline has forever broken, time will heal the wounds we’ve opened.

The reason don’t we destroy,
You fell secretly.
Fingers insubordinate still you’ve
Underestimated another cure,
Another world.
