that the world outside is waiting for you and you almost give upche il mondo là fuori t'aspetta e tu quasi ti arrendi

And the room with posters on the wall and scratched recordsE la stanza coi poster sul muro ed i dischi graffiati
lost among your books and gifts you don't even remember,persi in mezzo ai tuoi libri e regali che neanche ricordi,
it almost seems like the tale of many past momentssembra quasi il racconto di tanti momenti passati
like the piano studied and left years ago on two chords...come il piano studiato e lasciato anni fa su due accordi...

And your father seems bored and each time more distracted,E tuo padre ti sembra annoiato e ogni volta si fa più distratto,
he no longer invents games and is losing contact with you...non inventa più giochi e con te sta perdendo il contatto...
And your mother distant and present has things to do and say about your dreams,E tua madre lontana e presente sui tuoi sogni ha da fare e da dire,
but maybe she can't manage to know how to handle dreams...ma può darsi non riesca a sapere che sogni gestire...

and it's not without a high price to become an adult...e non è senza un prezzo salato diventare grande...

like objects of a child, distant and dusty,come oggetti di bimba, lontani ed impolverati,
