Six Lives Left

How long must I wrestle with my thoughts, every night have sorrow in my heart. Be a light unto my eyes or I will sleep in death. And not be put to shame by those with excuse. Time to take my life and put it back on track. And take those toughest steps and erase my regret. This is not the person I am, but there's no reason why I'm not myself. When you love something with all your heart that you know you can never have. Hate. Fight; restore the life back in my lungs. Restore the truth unto my tongue. The best things you will ever have. Are the things you will never have.
