Reflecting ideals, my parallel and me
Shiny, near perfect but for a twist of light
Testing the glass, cold but otherwise whole
Nothing's out of place, but I can't help
The stabbing sense of dread

Ask other for answers, discomfort strong

But while I stall the cracks just crawl on
