I remember when we used to speak
Tell me how one day you're gonna leave
You turned your back and there was no one there
Have ever been walking down the street
Hoping there would be someone new to meet
You looked around but there was no one there

Are the questions in my head?
Are the answers in my hands?
Its up to me and what I said
To try and understand

I find it kind of strange that there's a million ways
For a person to say what's okay
In my attempt to define write from wrong
I guess I failed to see your insecurity
You don't want to hurt them anymore
