I'm on the path to the dark side of live
Fallen leaves around my remind me of the loss
The breath of winter calms the land once again
Through silent glades my journey will go on
Until the end of time

I reach the mountainside as sunlight fades away
The gleaming stars will light my path
Show me the way again
to the place where hope and pain will end
Open the gates to the mystic vale
and reveal to me my sanctuary

Again I stand before the gates
Searching for the key as hope begins to fade away
So I grasp the dagger you once plunged deep into my heart
A final cut across the wrist will bring the quest to an end

The doors swing open at the moment that I die
The force of vale behind brings me back to live
And I enter a world of mysteries...
