My Carolina Home

I seen me a lotta big cities I been in a lotta fine towns
I laid down my head on a lotta good beds and done a lotta bummin' around
I met me a lotta good people I got friends all over this world
Manys a day I draw my pay and find my pockets full

But you know I still miss my Carolina home
The friends and the people and the roads I used to roam
So every chance that I find my lonely troubled mind
Takes me back to my Carolina home
