I try so hard to still my mind

A coffee in my hand
I try to understand
How I am in this bind

I cry, I laugh, I die
I live a thousand time
A thousand and one lives

I'm mad, I'm sad, unsure
I croak my nevermore
To the raven at my door

I pour my favorite cup
Been feeling entirely too much
