The day was coming to an endEl día ya estaba terminando
And Joshua was there fighting up front with his army of IsraelY Josué allí estaba peleando al frente con su ejercito Israel
The night was cold and dangerous but in such a glorious wayLa noche era fría y peligrosa más el de una forma tan gloriosa
He began to speak with the LordComenzó hablar con el señor
Maybe in prayer, Joshua saidTal vez en la oración Josué decía
Lord, You made the night and the daySeñor tú hiciste la noche y el día
Now God, hear my voiceAhora Dios escucha mi voz
Don’t let this valley grow darkNo dejes este valle oscurecer
It’ll be hard to overcome for the time, my LordSerá difícil de poder vencer para el tiempo ahora mi señor

Joshua's faith moved the heavensLa fe de Josué movió lo cielo
Our God is just and faithfulNuestro Dios es justo y fiel
And never abandons a faithful peopleY nunca desampara a un pueblo fiel
And when Israel was at war, the sun stood still over the landY cuando Israel estaba en guerra el Sol se detuvo sobre la tierra
And in that valley, the people were able to winY en aquel valle el pueblo pudo vencer

No matter what you’re going throughNo importa lo que usted este pasando
The glory of the living God is shiningLa gloria del Dios vivo está alumbrando
And by faith, the day won’t grow dark from heavenY por la fe no va a oscurecer el día desde el cielo
