Eastern Star

I'm following an eastern star
And capturing joy and tears all
Letting go, you know love is strong
Enough to spread around
Enough to break a frown
And crack a smile, heal a heart
Feed a child, that's a start.

Like a dove I'm flying to the light
Shining on your face
It's the light behind the eyes
Of the human race

I'm traveling viewing life from a far
Unraveling passed experiences all
Taking note of small miracles of life
Sometimes we don't feel
We can make them real

And realize who we are
Where we're from, where we go
And like that star we're racing
To a life dreams cannot replace
It' s a life beyond time, beyond space.
