Dark Days

In these dark days
I lose my mind everyday more
My spirit's broken
And its shards spread on the floor
My body is decaying
For every day this goes on
But that's the way it is
I know my end is best for all

Dark thoughts in my mind
About ending my life
And leaving this world behind
I’m alone in the dark
Surrounded by night
My mind has been torn apart

In these dark days
I lose my faith in better ways
Death is all around
The reaper’s scythe cuts through my veins
My head will explode
I'll put a bullet to my brain
In these dark days
My soul is gone and I want to die

Throughout these days
I feel insane, losing control
My thoughts tell me
My body should follow my soul
Into the void of death
Forever gone to nothingness
And find the peace I need
A peace that will forever last
