Un niño dormía bajo el ala de un gran pájaroA child slept underneath the great birds wing
Acostado en el suelo, donde encontró calorLaid on the ground, where warmth was found
Hasta que se despertó y se alejó gateandoUntil he woke and pulled away on hands and knees

Una serpiente contaba historias al niño que no eran ciertasA snake told stories to the child untrue
El niño se inclinó y sintió el veneno de sus dientesThe child bent down and felt it's poison tooth
Empezó a morir, el pájaro volóStarted to die, the bird did fly
Se tragó a la serpiente para salvar al niño y luego él murióSwallowed the snake to save the child and then he died
