They That Wait

They that wait upon the lord
They shall rise up with wings as eagles

They shall walk and shall not faint
They shall run and not be weary, no
They shall learn to run the race
They shall go forth boldly, holy

Many times I've walked alone going my own way
Many times I've run ahead when I'd forget to pray
Then I'd feel his hand on me and hear the saviour say
"I'll always be the potter, you'll always be the clay!"

The name of the lord is a strong tower
He's prepared a place, for the righteous run to it
And there they will be safe
Be still and know that he is God
And give him all your praise
For you can trust the lord, your God, he is never late
