Walk Toward The Light

Sometimes all I see is darkness
My tears flow like rivers in the night
I ache inside for peace, can't seem to find it
Oh, if I had someone to help me in the fight

Then he comes to me and puts his arm around me
And we talk of all the hard times in my life
Then he turns and takes my hand and leads me onward
And together we walk toward the light

He says, give to me your lonely night of sorrow
And I'll give to you my morning light of joy
I'll carry all your burdens and I'll help you through this night
I've come into your darkness, won't you come into my light

Jesus came to save the lost sinner
Salvation comes in the name of the lord
It's not in works that you may do
Whether they might be big or small
It's in Jesus christ crucified
He paid it all
