Tears Sorrow

For far too long we have fought over this.
You think there is only one way out.
If this is not worth fighting then what is?
Hard times are still ahead. No doubt.

Wasted years on tears and sorrow.
I alone can change my ways.
Maybe things clear up tomorrow.
Maybe I won't see those days.

I do regret some things I said to you.
You do not need to be treated that way.
Please tell me what is the way we should go.
