Supongo que empezó cuando las luces se apagaronI guess it started when the lights went out
Y todos empezaron a correr en círculos tratando de entenderloAnd everybody started running round in circles tryin to figure it out
Podía sentirloI could feel it
Atravesado en mis costillas, se sentía congeladoWedged in my ribs it felt freezin
Mientras mi aliento frío salíaAs my cold air blew out
Baila a través de la noche, paranormalDance through the evening, paranormal
Lentamente siendo llamado hacia lo verdeSlowly being called to the green
Donde los fantasmas se reúnen todas las noches y venden sus sueños al diablo, yo observoWhere the ghosts gather nightly and sell the devil their dreams, i observe
Saludos desde el otro lado de la aceraHails from the other side of the curb
Sostengo el bloc de notas de concretoHold the concrete notepad
Escribo mis palabras a la luz de las estrellasScribble down my words in the limelight
Así es como se siente sangrar tintaThis is what it's like to bleed ink
Pon tus dedos en ella, píntame un cuadro de lo que piensasPut your fingers in it paint me a picture of what you think
Hazlo hermoso y hazlo parecer amorMake it beautiful and make it look like love
Hazlo colgar de los cielosMake it hang from the heavens
Hazlo romper mi confianzaMake it break my trust
Hazlo realMake it real
Hazlo peligrosoMake it dangerous
Hazlo salir del óxidoMake it out of the rust
Hazlo apasionado e imposible de tocarMake it passionate and impossible to touch
Es para siempreIt's forever
Lentamente resucitado del polvoSlowly resurrected from the dust
Cuando entiendes que es todo lo que hay dentro de ti, somos nosotros.When you understand its everything inside of you, its us.

Eres todo lo que he conocidoYou're all I've ever known
Así que en mi sueñoSo to my sleep
Siempre me tienes corriendo a casaYou always got me running home
Cuenta por las rosasCount for the roses
Eres mi sangre y huesos frágiles, mi alma y trono abiertoYou're my blood and brittle bones, my soul and open throne
Eres todo lo que conozcoYou're all I know

Hablé un susurro en la oscuridad una nocheIve spoke a whisper in the dark one night
Vi cómo tomaba forma frente a mí y imitaba mi vidaWatch it take form in front of me and mimic my life
Parecía natural, especialmente viendo su último aliento como poesíaIt seemed natural specially watching its last breathe like poetry
Observa cómo se aferraba a su propio pecho con una sonrisaWatch as it clung to its own chest with a smile
Hecha de pedazos rotos de azulejosMade out of broken pieces of tile
Puedes ver los pensamientos corriendo persiguiéndolos por millasYou can see the thoughts running chase em around for miles
Si lo deseas, la gente dice que ese viejo camino está embrujadoIf you want it people say that old road is haunted
Si viajas lo suficiente en él, nunca saldrás de élIf you travel on it long enough you'll never get off it
Lo crees porque todo está distorsionado cuando lo vesYou believe it cause everything is skewed when you see it
Luego lo procesas automáticamente pensando que lo sientesThen you process automatically think that you feel it
Y se adhiere automáticamente al cerebro cuando la verdad está afuera jugando a las cartas bajo la lluviaAnd automatically sticks to the brain when the truth of it is standing outside playing cards in the rain
Nunca vencerás el juego que juegaYou will never beat the game it plays
Solo puedes darte la vuelta y lamer la sangre de tu propia navajaYou can only turn around and lick the blood from your own switchblade
Es para siempre, lentamente resucitado del polvoIts forever slowly resurrected from the dust
