Pharisees of the 21st Century

[Part 1]
Jesus came down to earth to free his people
Miracles and missions accompanied his walk
Everything that was done was for the sake of humanity
And for the same he gave himself bringing us freedom

And like a good deed, there's always retaliation
Jesus betrayed by the same ones he helped
They despised a gift sent by God
Several hypocrites emerged, known as Pharisees

Extremist religious, lives of appearance
They thought they were the holy ones of the time, by influence
In the crowd they followed Jesus just to criticize
Just waiting for a moment to point the finger

They criticized the miracles done by the master
And some even thought they were better than Jesus
They thought they were saints, deluded in the happenings
They shouted release Barabbas and put Jesus on the cross

Before Christ, this bad behavior already existed
And when Christ came, he was persecuted for it
Today, this trickery still exists
Behind a suit, or even dressed in a dress

They say they live by the word but it doesn't make sense
The Bible says not to judge, but they don't care
They oppress and judge the people around
As if they had never sinned in their lives

They don't sanctify for the kingdom just inside the temple
For God, this has been rejected for a long time
The temple is on this earth and as time passes
Jesus will come to take those who were attentive

I present to you now the Pharisees of this century
They want the temple at any cost and occasion
I present to you now the Pharisees of this century
They can keep the temple, my place is in Zion

But God's justice will soon happen

Some time ago I was called to make a rap
