When other people see you on the street
do they know the man you used to be?
Do they know the pain that you have felt?
Do they know the cards that you've been dealt?
To them it seems so strange.
Why's this grown man begging for change?
They didn't know you when you were so strong.

The strokes came and knocked you off of your game.
