No eran más que profecías vagasWere nothing, but vague prophecies
Pero cumplieron lo prometidoBut they abode what they promised
Así que ten cuidado con lo que deseas, podrías conseguirloSo be careful what you wish for, you might get it

Algunos chicos simplemente dejan de vivirSome guys, they just give up living
Y comienzan a morir poco a poco, pedazo a pedazoAnd start dying little by little, piece by piece
Algunos entierran sus esperanzas bajo árboles desarraigadosSome guys bury their hopes beneath disrooted trees
Pero la mayoría simplemente mueren una muerte miserable cerca de estas callesBut most of them just die a wretched death near these streets

Mis recuerdos fueron robados, así que saludo al ladrónMy memories got stolen so hail to the thief
La ironía causa risa, pero la risa causa dolorIrony causes laughter, but laugther causes pain
Estas montañas, algún día, empaparán el marThese mountains, one day, will soak the sea
Pero no seré testigo, no escucharé ni veréBut I won’t witness, I won’t neighter hear nor see

Ya puedo escuchar las cadenas chocar detrás de mis oídosI can already hear the chains clatter behind my ears
Puedo sentir las llamas quemando toda la última evidenciaI can feel the flames searing all last evidence
Que hayamos perdido esta batalla no significa que hayamos perdido la guerraThat we have lost this battle doesn’t mean we‘ve lost the war
Pero solo cuando hayamos perdido todo, seremos libres de partir...But only when we‘ve lost  everything, we’ll be free to leave…

Compartimos la sed de cisnes en el veranoWe shared the thirst of swans in the summer
Compartimos alineación, la falta mucho despuésWe shared alignment, the lack long after
Esta ciudad será mi perdiciónThis city will be the death of me
Estar atado a casa será mi perdiciónTo be homebound will be the death of me

Nunca puedo arrepentirme, puedo sentir tristezaI can never regret, I can feel sorrow
Pero al menos no es lo mismoBut at least it’s not the same thing
Me despido con el corazón pesadoI take leave heavy at heart
Aunque estuvo fuera de nuestras manosAlthough it was out of our hands
