Nunca fuimos piratas, solo criminales y ladrones. Estábamos de pie por nuestra cuenta, persiguiendo el sueño. Antes de embarcarnos navegando entre estas estrellas... Debo confesar algunas cosas. Olympia fue reducida a cenizas. 'Los incendiarios han escapado de nuestras manos'. Siguiéndonos de cerca ahora, perdidos en este sonido embriagador... Estamos hasta el cuello en la mejor historia jamás contada. Las campanas sonaban, los sirenos resonaban. Bailábamos como niños cuando las cenizas devoraban el paisaje más verde. Corramos hacia la seguridad, oh tan seguros, esperando que nos sostenga allí. Los árboles ardiendo, iluminan el cielo, como el cuatro de julio. Ellos gritaban. Nosotros reíamos. Los dioses nos maldecían desde el cielo. Hundidos. Los pantanos se hundían mientras nadábamos hacia el otro lado. Me estoy convirtiendo en algo parecido al monstruo. The trees on fire, light up the sky, like the fourth of July. They were screaming. We were laughing. The gods were cursing us out of the sky. Sinking. The swamps were sinking as we were swimming to the other side. I'm becoming much like the monster. Nothing left of the man.
