I'll Keep This Short

So I'll keep this pretty short and let you know the war in me has quieted to a roar
You know that's huge from where I was
But still I need the sympathy we all desire, the full attention of the choir
The selfish part of me and the liar

And woe is me, I"m down to nothing
I've given up I'm done here goodbye
And woe is me, I'm no good for anything
But a part of me believes that's a lie

Today I'm kinda a sane, the kind of day that could go either way
Head for darkness or the welcome home parade�
I guess that's up to me for now, I'll sit right here and wait
Thinking I could save the day but the darkest hour never came your way

One move can change the plans we made
One word can bring me to my knees
So much is seen when I'm awake for long enough
